What is ABA therapy and how does it help my child?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically proven therapy improving communication, social skills, daily living, and reducing challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement. It is the most widely recommended treatment for autism spectrum disorder.

How do I know if my child qualifies for services?

We serve children and adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis or those showing developmental delays. A formal diagnosis is not always required to start. Call 612-471-3338 — our intake team will guide you through eligibility.

Do you accept Medical Assistance (Medicaid)?

Yes! We accept Medical Assistance, EIDBI waiver, BCBS Minnesota, HealthPartners, Medica, UCare, and other major plans. We verify insurance before your first visit. Sliding-scale fees are available for families without insurance.

What ages do you serve?

We serve individuals from birth through adulthood. Programs are organized by age: Birth–7 (early intervention), (school-age and teen programs), and Adults and Families. Both in-person and telehealth options are available.

How quickly can services begin after I call?

After your initial call, we typically schedule an assessment within 1–2 weeks. Services can begin shortly after the treatment plan is completed. We understand the urgency of early intervention and move as quickly as possible.

Do you offer services in Somali or Spanish?

Yes — we proudly serve Bloomington's diverse community in English, Somali (Soomaali), and Spanish (Español). Cultural responsiveness is a core value. Every family deserves to feel understood and supported in their own language.

Can parents be involved in their child's therapy?

Absolutely — parent involvement is essential to our model. We offer parent training sessions, family consultations, and home-based coaching so you can reinforce your child's progress every day. Parents are partners in every treatment plan.

Do you offer telehealth sessions?

Yes! Parent training, family consultations, behavior support, and assessments are available via secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth — especially helpful for families with transportation challenges or scheduling conflicts.
